Refund Policy

1. Free Trial

FieldScribe AI offers a 14-day free trial for all plans. During the trial period, you have full access to all features. No payment is required to start the trial, and you can cancel at any time during the trial without any charges.

2. First-Month Guarantee

Every paid plan includes a first-month guarantee. If FieldScribe AI does not save you time on real reports in your first month, contact us and we will make it right. If we cannot help you generate a usable first report during the first month, we will refund or extend your subscription. To use the guarantee, email us within your first paid month following the steps in Section 4.

3. Subscription Refunds

We want you to be completely satisfied with FieldScribe AI. Our refund policy is as follows:

• Monthly Plans: Your first paid month is covered by the first-month guarantee (Section 2). After the first month, you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges; refunds are not issued for the current billing cycle once it has started.
• Annual Plans: Refund requests may be submitted within the first 7 days of purchase and are reviewed fairly on a case-by-case basis. The first-month guarantee (Section 2) also applies throughout your first month.
• After the 7-day window and the first-month guarantee period, refunds for annual plans are not issued, though you can cancel at any time to stop renewal.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

1. Send an email to contact@fieldnotesai.com with subject "Refund Request"
2. Include your account email and the reason for your request
3. Our team will process your request within 5-7 business days
4. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

• You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
• No further charges will be made after cancellation
• Your data remains accessible for 30 days after the subscription ends
• You can export all your data before the 30-day period expires

6. Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued in cases of:

• Violation of our Terms of Service
• Fraudulent activity or abuse of the service
• Requests made outside the eligible refund window

7. How We Review Refund Requests

Every refund request is reviewed by a member of our team, fairly and in good faith. Our goal is a fair outcome: if the product did not deliver what we promised, we will refund or extend your subscription as described in Section 2. Prorated refunds or credits are not issued for annual plans after the 7-day window and the first-month guarantee period, but we will always work with you to find a reasonable resolution.
